About the School

School Features

  • We are a Japanese language school certified by the Ministry of Justice of the Japanese government and a member of the JaLSA National Association of Japanese Language Schools. It is accredited by the Sapporo Regional Immigration Bureau as an appropriate Japanese language education facility, which simplifies the application process.

  • Experienced instructors provide easy-to-understand classes, enabling students to acquire practical Japanese language skills. Classroom teachers provide career guidance, and many students go on to the university or vocational school of their choice. We also hold information sessions on universities and vocational schools in Hokkaido.

  • In addition to Japanese language courses for international students, the school offers a “Japanese language teacher training course” for Japanese students who wish to become Japanese language teachers. The school also offers a variety of non-Japanese language courses, such as English conversation, and students can interact with Japanese students who attend these courses.

  • The school is located in the center of Sapporo, and students can commute to school on foot or by bicycle. Nearby is Odori Park, which is surrounded by approximately 4,700 trees of 92 species, including lilacs and Japanese elms. There is a large underground walkway in the center of the city, so students do not need to worry about the weather even during the snowy season. The Odori Subway Station, which is the closest subway station to the school, is a very convenient station with all three subway lines intersecting there. After getting off the subway, you can go directly to the school without going above ground.

Greetings

We have been teaching Japanese since 1970 and have played a major role in supporting the livelihood of foreigners, which has rapidly increased along with the internationalization of Japan. In the past, we have been in charge of “Business Japanese” for university students seeking employment in Japan, commissioned by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, as well as supporting “Japanese language education for foreigners as a way of life” commissioned by the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
With over 50 years of experience in language education, we hope you will realize your dreams at our school.

I myself have studied in Germany and had many hardships and failures. But meeting wonderful people gave me dreams and confidence. I love the saying, “Seeing is believing. I encourage everyone to be curious and take on new challenges.

All teachers are experienced Japanese language teaching professionals. Our teachers are interesting, fun, and very kind. We are sure that your time at our school will be a blessing in your life.
